Linksys/Comcast Networking Problem?

I had a wireless network in my house using Comcast Cable which was sent from my main computer to my laptop. The cable was out for about a week, and comcast sent one of their technicians out to fix the problem. It ended up being an outdoor problem and the technician fixed the cable box in the ground outside for our street. The main computer is connected to a linksys router which sends the internet to the laptop. The network was somehow deleted thru the process. I went to make a new network. It wouldn’t let me make one so I went to www.linksys.com and and followed their steps and saved the “EasyLink Connect” to a blank CD. I put it into the laptop and brought up the linksys connection wizard. I have a DELL ISPIRON 6400 with an internal wireless card. The wizard will not let me continue becuase the “Wireless Radio is off”. I made sure it was turned on by using “Fn + F2″. It’s on but the message on the wizard still says that I need to activate the wireless adapter’s radio now.

Sometimes they have a little button or switch on the outside front or side of the laptop that can turn the radio on and off. I’ve been thrown by this because it is usually pretty small.
