What does having CAT5 drops in every room of a house mean for getting an ISP and hooking up my PC?

YahooPete asked:
I’m moving to a house with CAT5 drops in every room. I saw in the garage a box with several cables, each labeled with a different room’s name. How can I best take advantage of this? Do I need to get a special router to plug in each room’s cable? Do I need a special adaptor to connect to the CAT5 in each room? Can I go ahead and order a normal DSL or cable ISP, or do I need special service. Sorry for being such a newb.

Cat5 wired troughout the cable service and eventually dsl or drop entirely with builtin 8port variety you need to make live to network more than rooms those are under 100 so if you wish to single computer that provides internet access for any room which sell for around 50 have no interference issues unless something chews the cable you simply connect their modem in.
